We are proud to welcome you to our new independent specialist school for children with learning difficulties, autism and associated needs..
At Courtlands we know that every child has the capacity to learn, grow and achieve, whatever their starting point.
In over 15 years working with children who have additional needs, I have seen them struggle with the demands and restrictions of mainstream education. A student may have had negative experiences in other schools and may have lost sight of themselves as a learner. At Courtlands, we do things differently. An experienced and skilled team of staff will support students with their academic, pastoral and therapeutic needs to become happy and independent members of their community.
Courtlands is a child-centred school where we nurture, challenge and cultivate curiosity and confidence in young people. Through our core values, we build positive relationships and an understanding of individual worth for every one of our students.
