Our Vision
Our Vision
At Courtlands School, we believe every young person deserves a personalised, ambitious and meaningful education that prepares them for a successful future. Our curriculum is designed to meet the diverse needs of our learners, balancing academic achievement with personal development, employability, therapeutic support and preparation for adulthood.
We recognise that success looks different for every student. Therefore, our curriculum combines strong academic foundations with practical learning, vocational opportunities, creative pathways and therapeutic interventions that enable students to develop confidence, resilience and independence.
From September 2026, our curriculum continues to evolve to reflect the needs of our students and the changing world around them. Key developments include the introduction of a progressive Duke of Edinburgh pathway, enhanced employability opportunities, expanded creative arts pathways and increased emphasis on digital literacy, vocational learning and preparation for adulthood.
